Many already know this place — the former Metalli 49 campsite is a sheltered haven on Kirjalansaari in Parainen. Nature is close, and the rush of everyday life fades on the shoreline rocks.
The site has kept its original charm and quiet. Here you can feel a genuine archipelago mood, with the sea and the sounds of nature taking centre stage.

Life and Atmosphere
Kirjala Camping is evolving – starting in 2027, our grounds will also become home to animal friends. We plan to bring gentle sheep in the summer to care for the traditional archipelago landscape.
The presence of sheep will enhance the relaxed island atmosphere and offer memorable moments in nature, especially for younger family members.
